6 Weird Things I Have Eaten While Stoned

Most nights, something like a bag of potato chips, some Takis, or an entire bucket of cheezeballs satisfies your cravings. Other times, you wanna try something excited and smoke just enough weed that you’re willing to try something weird. I’m gonna list 6 of the weirdest munchies I’ve tried and tell you whether you should try them too.

1. Sriracha Oreos

If you like a good sweet and sour combo, you’re gonna love this. This munchy was born one fall afternoon while I was stoned at a friend’s house and there was a bottle of sriracha and a pack of Oreos on the table. What else did you want me to do? I think some people hear this and shiver, but if you’re feeling a little adventurous, give it a try! If you’re feeling real wild, try this out with a variety of hot sauces. You could probably make a successful YouTube channel by making people do this while you’re asking them questions.

Verdict: Worth it.

2. Sugar Coma Taco

One day me and my friend were on the bus coming home from school and this older guy who I think might’ve been a wizard heard us talking about weed. He came over and sat next to us and gifted us this recipe.

Basically, take a flour tortilla, spread Nutella on one side and some strawberry icing on the other. If you’ve got them, add some crushed peanuts to the mix, then fold it up. I think this one’s a little more sophisticated than the sriracha Oreo, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a cheap, easy-to-make, satisfying treat that tastes great late at night when you’re stoned and out of other snacks.

Verdict: Worth it.

3. Hot Cheetos Parfait

Have you ever eaten an entire bag of hot cheetos in one sitting while you were high and realize after the 30th cheeto that all that heat’s starting to add up? This was supposed to be a solution to that problem. Break up some hot cheetos, put them in a bowl, add a bit of nonfat plain Greek yogurt, and eat it with a spoon. Or just start dipping the cheetos into the yogurt. There’s no right way to do this, mostly because doing it any way sounds pretty wrong. If you wanna know whether this one is enjoyable… not really. But worth trying to see for yourself? Yeah, sure.

Verdict: Not great, but worth trying.

4. Taco Bell Sauce on a Mango

This is another one for those of you who like the sweet/spicy combo. Have you ever tried a mango with chili seasoning on it? Well this was kind of like that. I’d gotten some Taco Bell one night and my roommate picked up some mangos that afternoon. I had the idea, I went for it, and have some mixed feelings about my decisions. At first, it felt a bit weird to eat a mango with any  type of sauce on it, but once you get used to that, it tastes pretty good. The sauce starts to mix with the mango nectar, and they merge to create a nice sweet and spicy medley. After a while, that Taco Bell taste starts getting to you, but overall, pretty good and easy munchy.

Verdict: Worth it.

5. Taco Bell Sauce on an Apple

I got a little too cocky with that last one, and I wanted to know whether it would be good on something crunchy like an apple. It wasn’t. The juice of the apple doesn’t meld well with the viscous Taco Bell sauce, and it tastes a little gross. I also tried this with a green apple, which was probably a mistake. Turn’s out you can’t put that sh*t on everything.

Verdict: Don’t do it.

6. Dessert Dog

Surprisingly, the guy who made this wasn’t high when he made it for us. One summer me and some friends were grilling up some hotdogs and someone decided to lather a hot dog bun with marshmallow fluff and peanut butter before adding the hot dog in the middle and drizzling on some caramel sauce. This sounds disgusting, and kinda is after a couple bites, but the mix of savory and sweet, combined with the char from the hot dog, definitely make this one worth it. This one gets two thumbs up.

Verdict: You won’t regret it.
